Guge Kingdom, Tholing Tsaprang and Mansarovar tour trek via
Simikot, the unexplored and beaten off trail of far western Nepal used to an
ancient trade route to Tibet. Mansarovar-Guge Tour trek via Simikot is a
spectacular overland journey and trek that lasts in your memory for life time.
Guge Kingdom is wonder of Ngari and believed to be an
ancient 10th centuries caves settlements that was destroyed during
great Tibetan war. More than 300 houses and 800 caves are scatter over the 300m
mountain slope. The Zarang ruin in Guge covers the area of 720,000 sq ft, the
largest building in Tibet after Potala. From incredible landscapes to holy
azure lakes and magnificent Tibetan culture to spectacular and spiritual mountains,

Before starting the exotic drive in Tibetan side, the Simikot-Mansarovar-Guge
trail makes an adventurous trek in far western Himalaya region from Simikot all
the way to Hilsa. High elevated passes, snow-clad peaks, glaciers, nomadic
herds and azure lakes makes the drive to the north-west a memorable experience.
The main attractions of Simikot-Mansarovar-Guge is the
exotic kingdom of Guge which ruled the western Tibet from 9th to 17th
centuries. It great association with India and Ladakh made Guge, one of greatly
influenced Buddhist region in Tibet. There are more than 100 monasteries particularly
popular for incredible ancient art and history.
Retrace the history of an ancient kingdom Guge and continue
your overland journey to Mansarover, the sacred lake for Hindus, Buddhists and
Bon religion. Make a Kora (orbit) of lake and continue towards Dolma La Pass
(5,360m), the highest point of the trek. Visit en route Dera Puck and Zutulpuck
monastery and discover the majesty of Mt. Kailash before driving back to Nepal
