My husband and I chose High Pass Adventure Trekking as our trekking company for Upper Dolpo Trek in November 2022. This was my 8th time in Nepal with Ganesh for trekking. Everything was absolutely perfect, from beginning to ending. Ganesh is the owner and also was the guide. Really it was a good time with him, and everything was swift enough to satisfy my needs. My husband and I decided to do the Makalu Base Camp Trek vs the more popular Everest & Annapurna treks and others, and we haven't regretted it since! Our guide Purna was knowledgeable and catered to our needs, and the locals were friendly and welcoming! The 1st part of the trek was a remote, where we saw less than 30 tourists but still spectacular views! The 2nd part of the trek we went to the more famous Makalu Base Camp for Climbing Mt Makalu. There were more people but we met many friendly tourists on the way! I would recommend the Makalu Base Camp Trek & High Pass Adventure for anyone who's considering a trip to Nepal!
Purna was a guide for a customized marathon near month-long trek along the Manaslu, Annapurna and Nar Phu valleys, including Manaslu Base Camp and three high passes (Larkya La, Kang La and Thorung La passes).
Our group specification for this trek was to avoid the well trodden trail and do a trek that fewer people had done. We had many question about this trek before booked this trip. This was highly successful - for most of our tea house and home stays we were the only guests! High Pass Adventure rated this trek as Adventurous/Difficult and I would agree with that but it wasn't beyond the abilities of two trekkers in their mid-sixties. I cannot praise High Pass Adventure highly enough - our guide Ganesh and porters Ramesh and Ram were first rate. Every evening we had a review of the day and then the itinerary for the next day.
This was the third time that High Pass Adventure has organized adventure trekking trip for me and my group have been flexible and very reasonable prices. The service provided first class and quick communication to all question by email. The trekking staffs are experience and professional with no major incident on any of our treks and this Saribung Pass Trek. The Saribung Pass Trek has incredible landscapes and stunning mountain views. After that we did the Saribung pass which was isolated and changeable every day.
This company was absolutely brilliant. My guide was extremely knowledgeable and kind , encouraging me when the hiking was difficult. Safety was paramount , the views were amazing, the food and hiking was out of this world and our guide made it extremely fun for a solo traveler. I would certainly come back again and use High Pass Adventures.
Me and my girl friends did the Ganjala Pass Trek with Purna who is also owner of the High Pass Adventure. The pass is challenging for us but we feel easy because Purna was professional to lead the trek and he helped us every step along the pass as well as he handled all the necessary safety measures. He answering very quick about trek and always ask about our physical health so without this person we may not have completed the trip. Many many thanks to all high Pass Adventure team and I would highly recommend them and I always use them for any other trek in Nepal.

Mesokanto-La Pass via Tilicho Lake is Memorable Experience
We had visited in Nepal 3 times but never taken adventure and different less traveled route. This time we contacted to High Pass Adventure for Mesokanto La Pass with Tilicho Lake. This High Pass Adventure was recommended to us by one of our friend who had taken the same trekking route with them. Then we contacted them and we are very satisfied with answer of our all questions about this trekking route.
High pass adventure is the best trekking company and best working team. The owner is professional while guiding us during our trip in Kathmandu valley and short trekking around valley rim during the trip. We were fully explained about the significant place and the culture.
My friend and I trekked for 5 days in the Annapurna Conservation area, heading up to Poon Hill and back around to Pokhara via Ghandruk. We were accompanied by Purna (one of the owners of High Pass Adventure). Purna was an exceptional guide! He is very personable and highly flexible. When my friend injured his knee, Purna swiftly changed our itinerary to accommodate his injury and extended the trip by one day - no questions asked.

From the moment he met us at Katmandu airport with a huge smile, to leading us up to Lukla and towards Lobouche east we were bowled over by his knowledge of trekking and his culture, trek experience, humor, great stories, attention to safety, generosity, and lovely guy to chat to on our trek. He spoke and understood English very well.
Our trip Planning was very simple easy with every question to Purna and fully answered about our plan.
