Annapurna Region Trekking

 Annapurna Region Trekking trail is recognized as the secondary trekking destination in Nepal with multiple peaks exceeding 7,000 m including the 10th highest mountain in the world, Annapurna I (8091 m). Annapurna Region is considered the best mountain region in Nepal, which serves the varied scenery, many villages with different people and their unique cultures and traditions, agricultural farms, green forests and bush, birds and wildlife, highland culture and simplicity. All Annapurna regions are conserved by the Annapurna Conservation Area project established in 1986 AD. The protected region covers an area of 7600 sq. km. trekking to the Annapurna region begins and ends somewhere nearby Pokhara, a stunning place to start and a tranquil one to end. 

Pokhara is a scenic city that accesses equipment-rental shops, lodges, guesthouses, and above all easy transportation to the trailhead. The Annapurna trails actually provide a wider variety of trekking routes and locations than the Everest Region. You can have many options between short simple hikes, long treks, adventure treks, and high passes through fertile land and dense forest to Ghorepani and Ghandruk or highly challenging alpine altitude treks to Annapurna Circuit and Annapurna Sanctuary, Nar Phu Valley, and also the lake at the highest altitude in the world, Tlilcho Lake. There is another beautiful lake called Ice Lake, which is located north side above Manang Village. How difficult is Annapurna Trekking?

How difficulty is Annapurna trekking? It is common question form all trekkers, who are planning to trek in Annapurna region. Annapurna Trekking is seems difficulty and all trekkers feel difficulty before get in to the region. There are many different trekking routes like some are easy and some are challenging.  So, it is suitable for most of the trekkers of regular fitness level. All the trekking routes have different itineraries and elevations. So, the difficulty levels of the Annapurna trekking are Easy, Moderate and   Challenging. The highest elevation is 5416 meters at Thorong-La top and longest trek itinerary is 17 days Annapurna Circuit Trek in the Annapurna region.  If you are worried about trekking in Annapurna Region, you should do exercises like day hiking, cycling, walking and jogging before prepare the trek.  Per day walking hours is 4 to 8 and walk ascends and descends with guide. Best Time to Annapurna Trekking

The best time to Annapurna Trekking is in the autumn season (September to December) and spring seasons (February to May) in Nepal but you can do any time of the year. Mountain weathers is changeable in Nepal so you have to choose the best recommended season and months for Annapurna trekking. This time is favorable weather like sunny and warm with wonderful surrounding mountains views during the day and bit cold in the night, compare with other trekking season.
